Notice on the adjustment of DHL surcharges -------5.24 takes effect
In view of the significant impact of the new coronavirus on the global air transport industry, in order to continue to provide you and your customers with high-quality and stable services, DHL Express introduced an Emergency Surcharge (ESS) in early April.
Since the global outbreak of the new crown virus, the DHL team has been working 24 hours a day to continuously adjust our global network to better adapt to the development of the epidemic, epidemic prevention policies, and changes in capacity and demand. The epidemic has caused a significant reduction or even cancellation of commercial flights in most countries, which has had a huge impact on air transport capacity.
In our efforts to meet the urgent needs of our customers, these factors have directly increased our operating costs and affected the sustainability of our business, so we will make necessary adjustments to this expense. The adjusted emergency surcharge will take effect on May 24.
